Miriam Galindo
Dr. Miriam Galindo - California-Based Licensed Clinical Psychologist
A resident of Southern California, Dr. Miriam Galindo is a licensed clinical psychologist, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, and licensed clinical social worker who maintains a private practice in Costa Mesa. In this capacity, Dr. Miriam Galindo provides child and family therapy, co-parenting guidance, and case management for high-conflict families referred by the Superior Court of California in Orange and Los Angeles Counties.
Between 2005 and 2016, Dr. Galindo completed more than 350 child custody evaluations as a member of the Orange County Superior Court Family Law Panel of Child Custody Evaluators. Her background also includes social work and school-based roles at Olive Crest, and earlier work in in-patient psychiatric settings.
Dr. Galindo graduated with a doctor of nursing practice from Brandman University and a doctor of psychology from Trinity College of Graduate Studies. She also earned a master of science in nursing from Vanguard University and a master of social work from California State University, Long Beach.
Since 2016, Dr. Galindo has volunteered as a dementia caregiver education instructor with Alzheimer's Orange County. She received the organization's Visionary Women's Caregiver Award in 2020.
